I’m experimenting with WordPress as a tool to manage my blog. Up till now, I’ve simply created my blog entries in Dreamweaver. I liked that approach because it gave me complete control. What I disliked was that I had to control everything.
WordPress is a free add-on that takes over all of the details of managing a blog. I can still do some customizing, but I can’t control everything. A lot of it is set by the theme you choose. The biggest advantage is that it keeps all of the blog posts in a database, so I don’t have to keep track of the history.
